Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. Lennox lived on the student allowance, and relied in part-time jobs to increase her income. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied in her performance when compared to that of her classmates. She began considering different options. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. But she quit prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. She was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. This is where she first met Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. After that, Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva and it was released in the year 1992. In both commercial terms and critically it was a huge hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album came out on October 31, 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favourite blues and soul jazz tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut solo album, and is a sequel to an art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You go... Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25th 1954. After a brief success as a member of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to gain international recognition as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992, with the album Diva. The album featured a variety of well-known songs, including walking on Broken Glass and the song Why. Medusa the 1995 studio album features the cover versions of some popular songs such as No More I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums as well as her compilation album have a lot of songs.
